2006-08-29On August 28, 2006, Kookmin Bank received notice of a complaint filed in the Seoul Central District Court by the Korean Government against Korea Lottery Services (KLS), Ernst & Young Hanyoung, Kookmin Bank and three individuals. The Korean Government alleges in the complaint that the defendants had agreed on a fee rate that was too high resulting in a reduction in the ‘Lottery Fund’ contribution amount by 320,800,000,000 Won. The Korean Government seeks damages of the amount plus interest from the defendants.
